How to Install The Archives Addon on Kodi (Debrid Only)

This guide shows how to install The Archives Addon on the latest version of Kodi.

The Archives is a premium add-on that can be installed from the DoomzDay Repository. This is a ‘debrid only’ add-on meaning a debrid service like Real-Debrid, Premiumize, etc. is required to access content.

Most of the top Kodi add-ons today require a debrid service for streaming on-demand movies and TV shows.

In this tutorial we are using an Amazon Firestick but these instructions will also work for any Kodi device including Android TV/Google TV, PC, Linux, phone, tablet, and more.

Prior to using The Archives, you must first install the Kodi application on your Firestick or Android device.

How to Install The Archives Kodi Addon

• Launch Kodi
• Click the settings icon  

• Click System

• Hover over Add-ons menu item and turn on Unknown sources if not already on

• Click Yes

• Click back on remote to go back to the System page
• Select File Manager

• Click Add source

• Click <None>

• Type the following URL exactly how it is listed here – https://tinyurl.com/doomzday and click OK

• Use “doomzday” or any other name you would like to identify this source as and click OK

• Click the back button on your remote until you are on the System screen. Then click Add-ons

• Click Install from zip file

• Select “doomzday” or whatever you named the media source in the previous step

• Click the zip file URL – repository.doomzday.zip

• Wait for the “Doomzday Repo Add-on installed” message to appear

• Next click Install from repository

• Click Doomzday Repo

• Scroll down and select Video add-ons

• Select The Archives

• Click Install

• Wait a minute or two for the add-on to fully install

• Then go back to the Home screen of Kodi and select Add-ons, then choose The Archives

• You have successfully installed The Archives add-on

Installation is now complete but we are not done yet. As noted above, users must integrate a debrid service in order to view content.

How to Integrate Debrid Services

In order to stream content from The Archives, we must first authorize a resolving service. In this guide, we will show you how to integrate Premiumize, but this will also work for Real-Debrid, AllDebrid, and other debrid services.

1. From the main menu, select Addon Settings.

2. Select Authorise Premiumize (or your preferred debrid service).

3. You are then provided with an authorization code.

4. Visit premiumize.me/device and enter the provided code.

5. Click Allow.

6. You should then see a “Device authorization accepted” message.

7. Return to The Archives add-on and you should notice an authorization message. Premiumize is now integrated for use!

Is The Archives Addon Legal?
