How To Install and Use GitHub Kodi
The tutorial below will provide you with step-by-step instructions to Install and Use GitHub Kodi. GitHub Kodi is a browser within the Kodi software that will allow you to install add-ons directly from the source.
Instead of typing in and searching Kodi repositories, users can simply find and download add-ons from the developer’s repo itself.
If you are a long-time Kodi user, you have probably heard of the Fusion Installer. This repository hosted nearly every Kodi add-on available. Instead of typing in a repository’s URL, users simply installed Fusion and searched for add-ons!
GitHub works in a similar fashion allowing you to install add-ons via the Git Browser instead of through file manager. Sometimes, this is the only way to install specific add-ons if the repository is no longer available.
The following guide will show you How To Install GitHub Kodi.

How To Use GitHub Kodi
There are 3 ways to install add-ons via GitHub.
- Search by GitHub Username
- GitHub Repository Title
- Search by Addon ID
In my opinion, the easiest way to install via GitHub Kodi is with the GitHub username. If you know the username of the developer, you can easily find and install add-ons for your enjoyment.
One instance of this is the Exodus Redux add-on which can be installed two ways. In the guide below, we can install via GitHub Browser or by entering the exact URL of the lazykodi repository.
