What is HDO Box?
HDO Box is a popular streaming APK known for its simplicity and one-click play. It features a vast library of video-on-demand content and the developers do a great job of updating the app with its latest release being V2.1.4.

Note: You must also install a video player called Drama Player in order to stream content from HDO Box. We show how to do all of this below.
How to Install HDO Box on Firestick & Android TV
In this guide, we are installing HDO Box on an Amazon Firestick 4K Max, but these instructions also work on Android TV/Google TV devices.
Note: This app does NOT work on the Fire TV Stick Select model. This device does not run on Android OS and instead uses “Vega OS” which is Amazon’s in house platform.
1. You must first install the Downloader app on your device. If you haven’t done this, refer to our Downloader Tutorial. Make sure it is the official Downloader app by AFTVNews.
2. Select the Hashtag Icon (upper right hand corner) which will open the numerical keypad.
3. Input the Downloader Code for the TROYPOINT Toolbox (250931) and click Load.
4. Wait a few seconds until you are redirected to the TROYPOINT Toolbox page.
5. Once in the TP Toolbox, scroll down to locate HDO Box and click the Official version.
6. Wait for the app to download.
7. Select Install.
8. Click Done.
9. Choose Delete (delete installation file).
10. Select Delete again.
11. Return back to the TROYPOINT Toolbox.
12. Scroll down and find Drama Player and then click Download.
13. Wait a few seconds for the APK file to install.
14. Click Install.
15. Click Done.
16. Now launch the HDO Box application.
17. Click Allow.
18. You have successfully installed the HDO Box app on your device.

Stop buying Firesticks and solve 95? if streamibg issues.
Recently downloaded HDO/DRAMA and it’s working (sort of). Problems are with the FIRESTICK REMOTE. When I play a WATCHLIST video, nine of the lowest 3 buttons (STOP, FAST FORWARD, REWIND) work. Also, I cannot turn on SUBTITLES (CC). If I exit a video and then go back in, it starts at the beginning, not where I left off. I have linked my remote with the TV multiple times but Still no change. Anyone know the problem?
When I try to play any stream with this, it just prompts me to install “drama player” with OK being the only choice you can make. Then it just gives an error saying it couldn’t parse the download. HDO is totally non-functional, at least on on fire stick, thanks to this.
I get the same problem with my installation on a Firestick 4K Max. I’m surprised this issue was not resolved by the mods before they posted this. It’s just a waste of our time the way it is.

you have to install the player for it , use the downloader code 502741 when it shows up make sure you download the download backup cause that’s the only way you can get it cheers hope that helps
I downloaded IPVanish to my computer, can I use HDO on my laptop?
Love the picture but why do I always have to back out of the app only to restart it again to get to the next episode?? I am using an android tv box device. There is no menus within the movie/TV show screen. I am not using a fire stick.

On Firestick, initially had trouble the pause, RW/FW features as well. I got it to work… kinda. The fix is frustrating and far, far from ideal, but it’ll work.
The app does NOT work corresponding FW/RW or Play/Pause buttons on the Firestick remote.
FW/RW works with the navigator ring around the select button. Pushing to the Right = FW. Pushing to the Left = RW. Those buttons won’t work if there are other menu items on screen like what happens when you press Down to bring up the timeline and closed captioning.
Hear me out. To Pause and Play, though, you do need initially press Down. Highlight the pause button. Don’t touch anything and wait for timeline to disappear. Now you can use the middle Select button to Pause/Play.
The user interface is infuriating. The app feels like it’s still in Beta and has some serious bugs. It mostly works though if you’re a very forgiving person willing to jump through extra hoops.
Just downloaded as well very easy however as stated in a previous post, no pause or other functions! At least a PAUSE FEATURE would be great! Luv the app!

Hello, HDO does not seem to want to work on 3 different android devices including my 4k firestick. Tried clicking different tabs and does not respond, sorry not 4 me. Running Surfshark VPN FYI.
From the comments, it sounds like it’s a clone of a previous rendition of a known app w/o the upgrades that followed for that app as it’s “buggy” in it’s current state….does the interface look familiar?
easy install, great pic, tons of movie and tv shows, however no pause, fast forward.

Re your May 14 post about HDO Box. It is a good app. TV episodes and movies, upon click immediately play, no waiting for files to load and select. Drawbacks: marking TV series and movies as Favorites, they call, WATCHLIST. When you mark them to your watchlist, yes they will be marked and show up in the watchlist. Sadly, when I go to the watchlist, see them, click them, they are totally different TV series, even some in different languages! Not one was the item i marked to watchlist. So this feature is totally useless! Otherwise, I really like the app.
Installed this on a Firestick and a Sheild Pro 2019, the version for both is 1.0.0 something, it installed eventually, but not easily. Installed it on my Phone also, version here was 2.0.0 something. The version for Android Mobile is better, it allows Trakt integration.
Not working on the wallmart onn box
Got it to work on the baby NVIDIA Shield. But didn’t install on the main one.
This app is not functioning! Tried it on 3 different devices.Didn’t even install on the Firestick. Might have a bug.
