How To Fix Live Streams In Kodi

How To Fix Live Streams In Kodi

This post will show you how to fix live streams in Kodi.

For some reason, the developers did not enable RTMP streaming support by default in Kodi 17 Krypton.  Previous Kodi releases had this protocol enabled immediately after installing.

You may have experienced that some Kodi live stream addons are no longer working properly and this could be the reason why.  RTMP is a live streaming support protocol that is used by many live tv streaming sources.

If you are using a popular Kodi build, more than likely you will find that these options are already enabled by default but it doesn’t hurt to check anyway.

If your live streaming addons still don’t work properly after making these adjustments, there is a strong possibility that the Kodi addon is broken.

You can try performing a Google search for the specific addon that you are dealing with to see if there are any troubleshooting guides.

You may also try uninstalling the addon and then reinstalling.  If you don’t know how to do that, get my free guide by clicking the link below.
