The following tutorial shows how to install the Forge Addon on the latest version of Kodi.

‘Forge’ is a new, premium Kodi add-on that can be installed from the Forge Repository. This is a fork of FEN Lite AM that provides movies, TV series, anime, and other on-demand content.
This is a ‘debrid only’ add-on meaning a premium debrid service like TorBox, Real-Debrid, or Premiumize is required to stream content. We provide debrid integration steps following the add-on installation.
Important Note: After testing we discovered that you also need to install an external scraper like ‘CoCoScrapers’ for this to work properly. This setup is a little more advanced and similar to Umbrella for those familiar.
In the tutorial below we are using an Onn 4K Plus to install the Forge add-on. These same steps also work on any device that runs the Kodi software like Fire TV, Google TV/Android TV boxes, PCs, Macs, tablets, and more.

Installation is now complete and if you want to integrate a premium debrid service we suggest viewing our instructions below.
How to Integrate Real-Debrid
In this example we are integrating TorBox but this process will also work for any debrid service like Real-Debrid, AllDebrid, Premiumize, and more.
As we mentioned previously, you will need to install an external scraper like CoCoScrapers for this process to work correctly. See our CoCoScrapers tutorial for more details.
1. From the main menu, select Tools.

2. Then click Settings.

3. Hover over Sources Accounts on the left menu and then enable External Scrapers.

4. Click Choose External Scrapers Module.

5. Select CoCoScrapers Module or any other external scraper you may have installed.

6. Then click Authorize under TorBox.

7. Now you must provide a TorBox API key for authentication.

8. Visit torbox.app/dashboard and locate your API Key in the account settings. Then click Copy API Key.

9. Return back to Kodi and paste your TorBox API Key. Then click OK.

10. You should then see a success message after TorBox has been integrated.

Forge Add-on Features & Details
The Forge add-on should work very well on any Kodi device regardless if you’re using a debrid service or not. There are a ton of categories that include Movies, TV Shows, Anime, Mixed Movies, People, Discover, Random Lists, Favorites, Tools, and more.

Forge Kodi Addon Review
Here’s what our testing revealed about the new ‘Forge’ add-on:
What We Like
- No malware detections in our repository URL test
- Direct replacement for the FLAM project, which lost development earlier this year
- Familiar FEN-style layout with Movies, TV Shows, Anime, People, and Discover sections
- TorBox, Real-Debrid, Premiumize, and AllDebrid all supported through external scraper modules
- Mixed section combines genres into one feed for casual browsing
- Independent developer (silencebob2) operates outside the major Kodi clusters
What We Don’t Like
- Third-party source with no verified licensing for content
- Premium debrid account required; zero free links are available
- External scraper module install (CoCoScrapers) adds setup complexity newer users may find tough
- Brand new release means long-term update commitment is unproven
- Third FLAM fork in 2026, so reliability over time depends on which one developers stick with
- Older Kodi versions may experience errors
Is Forge Addon Legal?
It’s impossible for TROYPOINT to determine whether these unverified add-ons like ‘Forge’ hold the proper licensing.
TROYPOINT recommends only accessing media not protected by copyright such as those that fall under Public Domain status.
The end-user is responsible for all content accessed through unverified apps. For verified options, see our list of legal streaming apps.
Is it Safe to Use?
Before using this add-on it is important to scan their repository URL with VirusTotal. Here is the screenshot of the scan results.

While VirusTotal did not find any suspicious files within The Forge Repository URL, we should always protect ourselves when streaming content from unverified 3rd party add-ons.
The best way to protect yourself is with our #1 Ranked VPN Provider. A VPN will provide you with an anonymous connection while using questionable add-ons such as this. See our VPN on Firestick tutorial for more information.
