This tutorial shows how to install Waveo IPTV Player on Firestick, Fire TV, and Android/Google TV devices.
Waveo is a quality live TV player that is free to use, offers a simple interface, and pairs well with any IPTVÂ platform.
Originally created as Wave IPTV, it has been rebranded and updated to Waveo with tons of new features, enhancements, and even a “Premium” subscription option.
However, you can also access Waveo entirely free to watch your favorite channels/streams with playback in high definition quality up to 4K.

How to Install Waveo IPTV Player on Firestick & Android TV
1. The first step is to install the Downloader Application and enable Unknown apps. See our Downloader tutorial if you haven’t done this yet. Then launch the Downloader app.
2. Click the hashtag icon or URL bar.
3. Enter the Downloader Code 250931 to access the TROYPOINT Toolbox and click Go.
3. You are now in the TROYPOINT Toolbox.
4. Scroll down to find Waveo and select it to begin the install.

5. Wait a few seconds for the file to download.
6. Click Install.
7. Choose Done.
8. Click Delete.
9. Select delete again.
You have successfully installed the Waveo app. Now follow the setup details below for pairing a live TV service.
How to Set Up Waveo IPTV Player
After you have finished installing the app, you can launch it for set up and integrate your preferred live TV service. This is a simple process which we outline below.
1. Launch Waveo from your list of installed apps.
2. Scroll through the introduction screens.
3. Next, you need to choose your connection method. You can use the provided QR Code for simple entry or input your M3U URL.
4. Click Load playlist.
5. After successfully integrating your live TV service you need to add a profile name, choose an avatar, and then click Save and Continue.
6. Then name the playlist and click OK.
7. You will then encounter the “Import Successful” message. Click OK.
8. You can now browse your available channels.

Waveo IPTV Categories & Details
The Waveo IPTV player offers some great categories and features even for free users! Categories include Movies, Series, TV, Favorites, History, Search, and Settings.
The Movies category populates all of the video-on-demand (VOD) movies from your IPTV service. The Series category populates the TV shows. Keep in mind that not all services offer VOD content.
The TV category is where you can access all of your live channels from an electronic program guide (EPG). This player will automatically generate ‘Channel groups’ based on the genres from your service. In this instance our service provides a total of 3,640 channels.
When you click on a channel from the EPG it will start playing in the smaller screen above.
If you click on the channel again, it will enable full-screen mode.
When playing content from full screen there is an option to adjust the Player settings.
Now, if you don’t prefer using the EPG, you can browse channels in Grid Mode instead of List Mode.
Player Settings
When clicking the Settings option from the left menu you will be directed to this screen. Within the General Settings you can view the information and statistics of your paired service.
Within Preferences, you can change some of the settings like Language, EPG offset, Time Format, and Startup screen. But notice the crown icon next to Interface as you must be a premium member to change that.
The Playlists & Updates screen allows you to manage your users and playlists. Plus, you can update the application from this setting and there are more Options to explore if you want.

Similar to TiviMate and other notable players, Waveo does offer a “Premium” option that includes several more features than the free plan.

The MyWave section is a brand new addition to Waveo that works as a built-in content interface providing the latest and greatest in the streaming world.
Users can browse the latest additions, trending content, popular titles, coming soon, and more.
You can also narrow down your selection by using the “View Trailer” button that is built right in for instant trailer access.
Various Settings for MyWave will help you personalize this feature to your liking. This includes the Sections listed, order, Banner, and more.
Cloud Sync
Another fabulous way to enjoy Waveo IPTV Player is with the “Cloud Sync” feature that will sync your app across numerous devices, just like we see with popular APKs such as Stremio.
You can add/remove favorites from history and choose the data you share (Playlists, Favorites, etc.) on any device, including mobile phones and tablets.

Waveo has also added Multi-Screen support so users can view numerous streams/channels at once.
Is Waveo Safe to Use?
The best way to determine the safety of 3rd party apps is by scanning them with a virus checker such as VirusTotal.
