Step 1 – How to Install Gaia Kodi Addon
In this guide, we will use an Onn 4K Pro to install Gaia on Kodi but you can also follow these steps with other Kodi devices including Firestick/Fire TV as well as any other Google/Android Box.
- Open Kodi and choose SettingsÂ
- Select System
- Hover over the “Addons” menu on the left-hand side and enable Unknown Sources
- Click Yes. (Make sure to enable your VPN!)

- Return to the Settings Page, open File Manager
- Click Add source
- Choose <None>
- Type the Gaia URL Repo – https://repo.gaiakodi.com and click OK
- Input “gaia” or any other name you would like to identify this source as and click OK
- Return to the Settings Page and this time open Add-Ons
- Click Install from zip file
- Select “gaia”
- Choose the gaia full repository zip file or the core if you only want the essential addons
- You will then see “Gaia Repository Add-on installed”
- Select Install from repository
- Click Gaia Repository
- Now choose Video add-ons
- Select Gaia
- Select Install
- Click OK
- You will then see “Gaia addon installed!” message

Step 2 – How to Set Up Gaia Kodi Addon
We will now continue with the configuration process of Gaia.
1. Open the Gaia addon from your addon list and wait for a few seconds for it to load.
2. Click Continue to begin the Setup Wizard.
3. Choose your preferred language and click Continue.
4. You can now browse through and enable various “Niche Content” as well.
5. Set your viewing level (None, Occasional, Regular, Frequent) for each Niche you prefer and click Continue.
6. We will now enable third-party “extensions” or Add-ons.
7. Browse through available extensions and choose any you wish to add.
8. When prompted, click OK.
9. Choose Install.
10. Click Continue.
11. Choose Continue again to authenticate your preferred Accounts.
12. Choose your Debrid Provider. (We selected TorBox).
13. Select your Resolve method.
14. You will receive Gaia “Addon installed” message.
15. Add your API Key and click OK.
16. Click Continue.
17. We will now set up Scraping options.
18. Wait for Gaia to diagnose your device storage.
19. You will then see your Results. Click Continue.
20. Enable your preferred Scraping Option.
21. We will now configure Metadata settings.
22. This process takes up to 10 minutes. If you are short on time, you can skip some of the steps to continue with Gaia setup.
23. Click Continue.
24. You can also enable Bulkdata if you prefer.
25. You can support various providers that support the Gaia Kodi addon.
26. You can also donate to the Gaia project with various methods. (We suggest using Bitcoin if you opt to do so).
27. You will then see “Gaia is Ready” message. Click Finish.
28. Click Restart.
29. Open the Gaia addon again.
30. You are now presented with home page of Gaia.

The addon now supports a huge range of integrations including Trakt, multiple debrid services, EasyNews, Jellyfin, Emby, and even AI-powered search features through its Oracle assistant.
