The following tutorial shows how to install the Genocide Addon on the latest version of Kodi.

Genocide is a “debrid only” add-on that can be installed from The Chains Repository. This add-on has been recently updated to v6.8.8 and has earned a spot on our best Kodi add-ons list.
In order to use Genocide you must integrate a premium debrid service like Real-Debrid, Premiumize, or TorBox to stream content. We provide instructions for Real-Debrid integration following the installation steps.
In the tutorial below we are using an Amazon Firestick 4K Max to install the Genocide add-on. These same steps also work for those using Fire TVs, Android TV/Google TV boxes, and any device compatible with the Kodi software.

Installation is now complete but we are not done yet. As noted above, users must integrate a premium debrid service which we provide instructions for below.
How to Integrate Real-Debrid
In order to stream content from Genocide, we must first authorize a debrid service. In this instance we are integrating Real-Debrid but this process will also work for AllDebrid, Premiumize, and more.
1. From the main menu, select Tools.

2. Click Settings: Accounts

3. Hover over Accounts on the left menu and click Authorize under Real-Debrid.

4. You are then provided with a real-debrid authorization code.

5. Visit real-debrid.com/device and enter the provided code.

6. Return to Kodi and you should notice your Real-Debrid account is now logged in.

Genocide Add-on Features & Details
The Genocide add-on should work very well on any Kodi device after you’ve paired a premium debrid service. There are several categories available which include Genocide Movies, Genocide Shows, Boxset Collections, Streaming Apps, Trakt, Tools, Search, and more.

Genocide Addon Review
Here’s what our testing revealed about the long-standing ‘Genocide’ add-on:
What We Like
- Recent v6.8.8 update added new scraper modules including Aiostreams and Mediafusion
- Debrid-only means every working link pulls from premium cached sources
- Clean interface without the clutter found on some older Kodi add-ons
- Real-Debrid integration authorizes in under a minute
- Main menu includes Movies, Shows, Boxset Collections, Streaming Apps, Trakt, Tools, and Search
- Trakt integration works well
- Boxset Collections folder is a unique add-on category
What We Don’t Like
- Third-party source with no verified licensing for content
- Repository URL has changed in past years, which can break installs
- Chains Repository is hosted on GitHub Pages, which could be taken down at any time
- Installation process is not friendly for first-time Kodi users
- Requires a paid debrid subscription – zero free links are available

Is it Safe to Use?
Before using this add-on it is important to scan their repository URL with VirusTotal. Here is the screenshot of the scan results.

While VirusTotal did not find any suspicious files within The Chains Repository URL, we should always protect ourselves when streaming content from unverified 3rd party add-ons.
