If you have used Kodi for any period of time, you have likely come across the Kodi log error message which typically displays:

If you have seen this message in the past, you probably wondered just where to find the log file in Kodi. We provide two methods for doing so and these work on any device you prefer.
This error can occur when using Kodi add-ons and even builds which many prefer for a streamlined experience.
Many Kodi users are interested in viewing the log file to see important messages, updates, announcements from developers and more.

These steps will also work for other Kodi devices including Android TV/Google TV Boxes such as onn Google TV Box, NVIDIA SHIELD, Chromecast with Google TV, BuzzTV, Formuler, and more.

Step 1 – Install Log Viewer Addon
1. From the main menu of Kodi, select the Settings icon.

Same problem it says view log
Hi there, thank you for everything you have taught me already. I’m here due to the ‘The Crew’ error – check log for more information. Ok, I have found the log and the error codes (CM DEBUG @ 189, 188, 127) but now what do I do?
FYI, I’ve turned off ALL Win security and checked to see if it’s been blocked or quarantined but no, there’s nothing there but warnings because I turned everything off (even Edge & SmartScreen Defender).
Also, this is a completely new, clean install on a freshly re-installed Win X machine. All that is on it is: 0&0 ShutUpWindows 10, Geek Uninstaller, SurfShark and Brave browser.
Thanks, I understand that no one is obliged to give me an answer, or help in any way, but I do hope someone can. Have a great day!
Did you ever get your answer because I’m having the same problem.
