The following guide will show you how to Delete Kodi Addons using two different methods outlined below. We provide both a video tutorial as well as a screenshot guide with step-by-step instructions.
Nearly every Kodi user has installed different addons that provide streaming content such as Movies, Shows, Live TV, Games, and more. While these addons are the source that we use to browse and play our content, they do not always function properly.
This is the case for nearly any streaming device and that includes the most popular Kodi Device, the Amazon Firestick, as well Android TV/Google TV Boxes that are heavily used in the streaming community.
There are various reasons why Kodi users may want to delete Kodi addons that are never used or do not function properly on their preferred media system.
If you use a Kodi Build, you may have ten or twenty add-ons that you never use and are clogging up your valuable space. Build developers are notorious for including addons that don’t function properly anymore or don’t provide any value.
After installing a build, we recommend going through your list of installed addons and deleting/removing any that you feel will not be needed or used for your preferences.
Sometimes, deleting Kodi addons is a great way to “reset” the addon if it doesn’t seem to be working up to your standards. You may also find yourself in a situation where you must uninstall and reinstall the same addon because it isn’t updating properly.
Uninstalling Kodi addons that you no longer need is a great way to improve performance. You will also gain some valuable disk space in the process.

But now every time I want o watch a movie I select it and it starts searching for sources and every time I get the pop up screen saying check log. I dont get any other sources but that one. How do I get rid of projectfreetv so my other addons will be searched. I am at my wits end here please help??
Hello,
Let me start by saying I am not tech savvy. I updated kodi this am to the newest version using your step by step process (thank you for that). Unfortunately, now The Crew add on is now not working properly. When I try to watch something, many streams pop up, but none play. It says, “no stream available” I began troubleshooting to the best of my abilities. I checked my internet was working. I re-updated kodi, which was already set to auto-update (per your instructions when I downloaded). I turned my vpn (Surfshark) off and turned it back on. I re-authorized real debrid. I really don’t know what else to do but possibly uninstall the crew and re-install it. I am reluctant to do that because I would be going into uncharted territory for me. Please help, I’m sure there are other people running into the same problem.
