How to Install Flix-Streams Stremio Addon (HTTP Based)

Flix-Streams is an “HTTP-Based” Stremio Addon that pulls links directly from online servers/websites and serves them up within various apps including Stremio, Nuvio, etc.

Unlike other addon choices that use torrent sources or debrid providers, Flix-Streams provides direct links to your favorite Movies, Series, and Anime content.

Those who do not use a Debrid Service may want to consider Flix-Streams, as no integration is required and links still play in high definition.

IMPORTANT: Although Flix-Streams does not use torrent sources, it is still strongly recommended to use a VPN. Many streams may have geo-restrictions, and your ISP can still monitor the domains you access and your streaming activity.

How to Install Flix-Streams Stremio Addon

Before installing Flix-Streams, you must ensure you have the Stremio App Set Up & Installed on your streaming device(s).

As with other Stremio Addon choices, we will first configure Flix-Streams on our mobile device which makes it easier to copy/paste manifest URLs. We can then sync to a Google TV/Android Box or Firestick/Fire TV.

1. Visit the official Flix-Streams configuration page – flixnest.app/flix-streams.

2. Choose Start Configuring.

3. Create an account or login if you already have one.

4. Scroll down and choose a preset configuration if you prefer.

5. Select Copy current URL.

6. Open web.stremio.com (or Stremio App) and click Addons.

7. Choose Add Addon.

8. Paste your Flix Streams URL and click Add.

9. Select Install.

10. You will then see it installed in your list of Addons.

There are both pros and cons to using the Flix-Streams which we cover below. While there are some advantages to this addon, it is not for everyone and we suggest installing it to see if it suits your personal needs.

While some may prefer to use an addon that is HTTP based such as Flix-Streams, there are likely better options available.

For stability and quality purposes, we recommend Stremio Users and all cord-cutters subscribe to a trusted Debrid Provider and use an addon with debrid capabilities.

However, if you do not wish to purchase a debrid subscription, Flix-Streams may be a great alternative but make sure to activate your VPN prior to accessing.
