When Will Omi in a Hellcat Be Released from Prison? From the sounds of things, very soon!
Gears IPTV Owner, Bill Omar Carrasquillo, also known as “Omi in a Hellcat”, was arrested in 2022 and sentenced to five and a half years in prison in March 2023.
Carrasquillo had to forfeit more than $30 million in assets and this includes nearly $6 million in cash.
Omi went to prison for running an illegal IPTV service Gears TV/Gears Reloaded. Before this, in 2019, he was raided by the FBI and they seized many vehicles from his home.

He ended up pleading guilty to both criminal copyright infringement and tax fraud.
Omi’s IPTV service, Gears Reloaded, was one of the most popular services available.
He re-sold content from providers like Spectrum DirecTV, Comcast, and others.

Omi was also very popular for his YouTube channel which has been taken down.
Carrasquillo had to pay close to $11 million in restitution to all the cable companies and $5.7 million to the IRS for tax evasion.
When Will Omi in a Hellcat Be Released from Prison?
Word is going around that Omi is scheduled to be released on June 25, 2025.

While in prison, Omi Revealed in the post below that he got engaged and lost 120 pounds.
There’s also rumor going around that he was in solitary confinement for ten months but TROYPOINT can’t verify the validity of this claim.
If Omi does get released on the 25th, we will most likely be seeing his return to YouTube and social media.
It appears that his original YouTube channel was removed but we found this which appears to be his new one.
