The Verizon Fios TV App is now available for installation on Firestick and Fire TV Devices.
Fios TV is Verizon’s streaming service that features live content, VOD, DVR, rentals, and more.
The app was previously only available on mobile devices and tablets.
Fios TV customers will still need a Fios TV One box as well as a Fios Subscription to connect to the service.
However, you can now install the Fios TV App on your Firestick and Fire TV devices for direct access to Fios without a box for each television.
Verizon also announced that the app is available for installation on Apple TV as well.
If you are a Firestick owner, you can easily install the application from the Amazon App Store.
NOTE: The Fios TV App is currently only available for devices with Fire OS 6 & 7. This includes the Amazon Firestick Lite, Firestick 4k, and devices made after 2017.
How to Install Verizon Fios TV App on Firestick/Fire TV
1. From the home screen of your device, hover over find and select the Search option.
2. Search for and select Fios
3. Choose the Verizon Fios TV app
4. Click Get
5. Wait for app to install

6. You will then encounter app installed, ready to launch message
7. Open the Fios TV app and you are greeted by the main menu
You can now login with the mobile app or with a remote to access Verizon Fios TV. Enjoy!

Just bought gen 3 Firestick. FIOS TV app installs but you need a FIOS mini box. Confirmed with Verizon TS. Disappointing.
