You can add playlists through both the companion app or the application directly. Using the Companion app is easier because you can use a keyboard on your PC. phone or tablet which makes it much quicker.
To add a Playlist through the NexTV Companion app go into My Playlists and then click Add a playlist.
It’s important to point out a few important details regarding this process.
Your IPTV service will provide you with the credentials that you need to make this work. You will want to look for Xtream Codes Portal or just portal login information from your provider. See my IPTV Master Class Video on the following page that shows how to securely register for IPTV and use it anonymously.
IPTV MasterClass Video & Resource Guide
When adding the url into the Host box, you do not want to add http:// or https:// as you will use the Protocol box to signify which is used in the address. If your IPTV service url start with http:// you will choose that as Protocol. If it starts with https:// you will choose that.
The port number is also usually added to the end of the address that your IPTV service provides. This also must be removed from the URL as well and placed in the port box.
Here’s an example of how a typical URL looks from an IPTV provider and you will see in the above image how I add this as a playlist.
Host: http://domain.com:80
Once you’ve filled in your IPTV details click the Submit button.

What I Really Like About NexTV
The feature that I really enjoy is having all of my playlists, favorites, groups, and watch-lists in an online account. This means that when I add the app to a new streaming device, everything is there!
TiviMate needs to take note of these features and allow the same login opportunities. They also need to allow for an easier registration process like this because their companion app is less than ideal.
Final Thoughts
Overall, NexTV is a fabulous IPTV Player that works with IPTV Service that offer the ability to use an external app.
There are some bugs that I’ve encountered with the companion website where I see XML errors. Also, their Playback feature is supposed to work for IPTV services that offer catchup which allows for going back in time and watching a previously aired program. This isn’t working properly in the application.
There is no record option yet.
I really hope that the developer of this application continues adding features and improving the app as this one can be just as good as TiviMate if not better.

Does anyone know if Troys version of NexTV in the toolbox is the same as the playstore?
Mine looks nothing like his and nothing is loading for me. I’m not even getting a home page
Are they even the same Nextv app. They look nothing alike and the one I installed from the toolbox frooze completely. I had to uninstall
I steered clear due to sending my iptv creds to somebody elses cloud concerns me.
Very nice review done by Troy…
Thank you.
I wanted to give this one a try and compare to sparkle, but I do not see how to add M3U information.
My provider does not have extreme codes.
Any suggestions please.
Hello everyone, I’m linking directly to their Amazon Firestick APK link at the following site within the tooblox.
https://www.app.nextv.fr/
The APK file from their site shows as “3.0.17-tv-boxes” whereas when you download from Google Play it displays as “3.0.17-google-tv” so there may be some slight differences with the APK. Seeing how Amazon is now running things with their new devices, I’m sure these devs need to jump through their hoops.
With all of that being said, I would suggest installing through Google Play if you are on an Android device to ensure you are getting the proper release. Someone said that theirs looks different. Mine doesn’t, both look the same and you probably installed something different.
I also installed this on my Android phone and it’s working as expected there as well.
Hello @TXRon I was thinking the same thing as you but used my trial services with it to test. One thing that you will notice in settings after upgrading to their + version is that you can turn off cloud if you would like.
If not using the cloud sync feature I personally don’t think I would spend 20 bucks on this yet as there are still some bugs they need to work out.
I have been using Tivimate and very happy with it. The feature that I use alot is the catch-up feature along with an IPTV that has this feature. Does NexTV offer the catch-up feature?
Hello @Bob11 they do but I couldn’t get it to work. It returned an error. Definitely stay with TiviMate if that’s a feature that you use. As I say in the review, hopefully they will keep adding features and fix some of the bugs such as Catchup.
Overall, it’s fun to try out new players, but the EPG has a lot to be desired.
Thanks Troy, I will keep an eye on it but as others have stated its pretty hard to beat tivimate. What I find interesting is/if you could upload all your subs and mix/cut out as needed etc…glue it back together as one output…then we might be on to something
I have been waiting years for someone to come up with a player for those folks having more than one service. Wouldn’t it be great to have the ability to create a “Favorites” folder with your selection of channels from several services? A programming nightmare to create for sure, but I can dream, can’t I?
actually you can do that with tivimate
For everyone’s information…
I was evaluating NexTV player today.
Downloaded it and entered playlist information around 3:00 p.m. today.
At 9:02 pm tonight while looking at the Notre Dame vs Miami football game, the TV image froze and a message is displayed saying “You have reached your viewing limit for today. Switch over to nexTV+ to continue.”
Am I missing something?
I downloaded this from tool box…
That is correct and Troy mentioned that in his article. Its limited unless you pay
try sportsfire tv its free and works well
Thanks for your suggestion…
Can you please provide a link?
Found information here…
Put this in search
Is sportsfire.tv safe on ONN device
its safe and very good
Just tried NEXTV and honestly not impressed ! its a swine to sort favourites and EPG is rubbish … TIVIMATE still the best for me … not worth €19.95 lifetime or not !!!
My channels name editor list is extensive and, like you, I love playing with the options. I really should get and use the multiscreen finction ready for football playoffs.
Please don’t mention any unverified paid IPTV services on here…
There are good reasons for that rule.
This is my add a playlist for Nextv app from playstore. Look nothing like the Troy’s tutorial add a playlist.
His image shows 2 optiona I’m showing 3 options…
My first attempt was from the toolbox to my Firestick and I got the same 3 options…
This image is the playstore download to my android phone…
If it’s similar to all the other players that I’ve tried, hit the m3u link and type in your playlist.
I would guess that either the ‘1-Stream’ or ‘XC’ would allow you to enter an xstream set of data.
I agree 100%. I also bought the premium + service for $20 just to play around with it. Well I will use it only on any TV I have over my TiviMate limit. It is very cumbersome to navigate and as you mentioned the epg is really nonexistent. And when you do find the little epg it is 24 hour timeframe and I can’t find anywhere to change it. TiviMate is still king of the hill for me.
Your m3u contains all the information needed for XC login.
