Kemo IPTV, LemoTV, and Major IPTV Resellers Sued by DISH

DISH Network has filed a lawsuit against the unnamed operators behind two major IPTV services – LemoTV and Kemo IPTV.

The lawsuit also names a long list of affiliated resellers, some of which may be behind the service you’re using. We’ve listed these IPTV resellers in this article.

The complaint, made in a Texas federal court, accuses the services of widespread copyright infringement. Coordinated by the International Broadcaster Coalition Against Piracy (IBCAP), the lawsuit seeks damages of more than $25 million.

Legal Action Targets LemoTV, Kemo IPTV, and Resellers

These IPTV providers have grown popular by offering cheap access to massive libraries of live TV channels and on-demand content.

According to the filing, both Lemo TV and Kemo IPTV advertise over 18,000 live channels and more than 8,400 shows. Subscription packages start as low as $28.50 for six months and go up to $100 for a four-year plan.

In addition to selling directly to customers, the platforms also run aggressive reseller programs. For under $200, third parties can create custom-branded versions of the service and resell subscriptions to their own user base.

Massive Copyright Violations Cited

The lawsuit lists at least 171 registered works that were allegedly infringed by these IPTV services. DISH is pursuing the maximum $150,000 per violation, totaling over $25 million in statutory damages. DISH also wants an injunction to take control of the domain names used by the services.

Despite receiving more than 100 notices from DISH and IBCAP since early 2021, the operators continued their activities. According to IBCAP, Lemo and Kemo were responsible for nearly 30% of all unauthorized streams seen in the first quarter of 2025.

Chris Kuelling, executive director at IBCAP, described the lawsuit as a direct result of their anti-piracy lab’s research. “This level of theft is unacceptable,” he said. “We will put a swift stop to it—just as we have with other pirate services.”

IPTV Reseller Network Also Under Fire

DISH’s complaint names dozens of reseller sites tied to Lemo TV and Kemo IPTV. If you subscribe to any of these platforms, now might be a good time to check whether it’s involved.

These resellers include well-known names like Xtremehdiptv.org, Bestusiptv.com, Slingtvbox.com, 1dollariptv.com, Fubo-iptv.com, Kemoiptv.shop, Geministreamz.us, Honeybeetv.com, Dynastyiptv.com, Caliptostreams.com, and 4kliveiptv.com.

There are hundreds of Kemo/Lemo resellers operating on the Internet and the above mentioned only scrape the surface.

These resellers use the base service but sell it under different branding, often at higher prices. DISH aims to cut off the network of distributors fueling these platforms’ growth. We expose this reseller model and more in our resource of how IPTV businesses work.

Discovery Motion Seeks to Identify Owners

The operators behind Lemo and Kemo remain unknown. However, DISH believes it can uncover their identities through discovery.

A motion has been filed to expedite this process, allowing subpoenas to be issued to third-party services like Cloudflare, Namecheap, PayPal, Google, Coinbase, and others.

The company is also targeting web hosts and social media platforms linked to the services. These subpoenas could lead to uncovering the digital fingerprints of the people running the IPTV platforms.

It’s important to keep in mind that several IPTV operators are tied to organized crime like fraud, money laundering, arms dealing, and even trafficking.

Final Thoughts

The lawsuit against Kemo IPTV and LemoTV is the latest in DISH Network’s ongoing battle against pirate IPTV providers.

While these services offer cheap access to thousands of channels, their legal risk is enormous. DISH and IBCAP are making it clear that they intend to use every available tool to stop what they view as large-scale content theft.

As more of these cases are brought to court, the IPTV industry, especially the unverified side is likely to face even more scrutiny in the months ahead.
