This comment caused us to do more research on popular IPTV services and what we found was astonishing.

You could name any popular IPTV service, and BestBuyIPTV has more than likely created a phony website pretending to be them.

We found this to be the case for Apollo Group TV, Falcon, YeahIPTV, Players Klub, and several others that can be found below.

If you look closely in the top right-hand corner of these phony websites you will likely find contact information related to BestBuyIPTV.

But be careful as they will probably change their email address and Skype after reading this article.

  1. I regret to say that I’m one of those scammed. I was using Yeahiptv for couple of months. One day I saw they have a new website and when I ordered a new package, it was showing a different brand Tribeiptv. It turned out that I was in wrong website. This scam website had a chat, I even contacted them and they told me that Tribeiptv is their new brand. I paid for a 6 month package. The price was $45 which was lower than I was paying before. How come I haven’t noticed that suspicious detail… After that received an email which was totally different than before and my subscription was never renewed. I’ve contacted support@tribeiptv.shop but I never received any answer. Later when I checked on Google, I found the real Yeahiptv website and saw their published notice about the scam services. They even have article about Bestbuy and other fake domains. Some of those are actually the same mentioned here on Troypoint.

On Reddit I read about this Tribeiptv and there were many other scammed cases like me.

    Well, I learned my lesson…

  2. This article has helped me a lot. Thank you, Troy!
I was planning to test Apollo and Yeahiptv, found their websites and realized I’m in a wrong versions. yeahiptv.net is fake as I saw the bestbuy email, also apollogrouptv.info has the same bestbuy email, so again: avoid yeahiptv.net and apollogrouptv.info, as those are scam!

  3. I’ve been using Yeahiptv for 2 years and one day when I go to “their” website to renew, I saw on top some email with bestbuy and I drop them an email. They said Yeahiptv was sold to their service and it’s ok to use. It was suspicious to me, as their email respond was full of grammar errors. After that I checked on Google the other website (actually this time it was the right one) and saw their warning about other scam websites, so I realized that the first website I opened it was a scam…those who I contacted (bestbuy email) were lying to me and I was so close to be scammed.

  4. Thank for the info. I got it 2 times with best buy iptv. Thinking I was getting falcon, realized I had the wrong one, tried again for falcon and still got hit. Only got me for a month each but it’s enough to piss you off.

  5. Thanks Troy! For the great reads you provide!
Other then using fake names, I was wondering how do they scam people?
    Do they sell your info?

  6. Got scamed by the bestbuy site though I was on the falcon iptv page thankfully I only paid for a month
Thanks for the information on them

  7. I was with hypersonic -I got an email saying payment method changed.Went to thier site and saw bestbuytv on the top I got out of there fast. THANK YOU TROYPOINT for warning us about them.trying necro iptv

  8. Thank You Troy,
You always provide a wealth of info on your website that is very helpful to everyone. If not for you I would not be enjoying tv like I do now. Words cannot express what you have done for myself and so many cord cutters out there.
    Thank You.

    1. Apollo and Falcon aren’t scams. However, this company “Bestbuy” is impersonating them as part of a scam

  9. Got an email about a week ago about a service they have catch-up and all even have a three day free trial was great had no problems with service but the problem is they only take bitcoins ,are a lot of services doing that now , have you Hurd of them ?

  10. Thanks, Troy!! I don’t have words to express my self how grateful I’m that you provide us with information, your friendliness and services!

    Greetings from Netherlands

So what are some IPTV services, that teeter on the line of legal/illegal, but don’t cost $60.00 a month? The whole point of cord cutting is to NOT pay cable TV prices.

    Where’s that list?

  12. WOW! Thank you so much for this! Was recently researching the different IPTV sites (with the help of the Troypoint website, of course). Luckily made it to the authentic Apollo TV site and started a free trial, which I’m loving so far. Found it unusual that many of the other sites, when I looked at signing up, all took me to the same place, which was the Best Buy IPTV site. Wasn’t too keen on that so I skipped them, thank goodness. Guess I’ll have to go back and find the correct sites and take another look.
Thanks SOOO much for all the amazingly helpful info!

  13. Hi Troy,
Nearly got myself scammed by xtream but luckily noticed the spelling difference. Seems like there’s always some little thing to give the scammers away if you just pay close attention to what it is you’re looking at. Keep up the good work, we appreciate you.

  14. So are there still legitimate sites for the original non verified IPTV providers. For example is FalconIptv.org legitimate and FalconIPTV.info not legitimate?

  15. Troy,
Thanks for all of your work and efforts to provide so much insight and information to
the streaming world. Believe me, they have been a blessing, especially for someone like me who is still an amateur and still learning as I go. Hope you continue doing this, at least until I become more efficient understanding more about streaming applications available. Simply put, your generosity in helping so many has enabled countless people to enjoy streaming. Don’t stop !

  16. They have been calling my phone pretending to be Apollo trying to get me to purchase service, even offering me a discount. Thanks for the heads up

    1. I got taken by these guys sadly 3 times in Mid June and again in early July.
      It wasn’t any of these,
      One was Beast TV
      The other was Joker TV
I think the third time was a knock off of the newer version of SportzTV.
Each time it worked for a few days to as long as a couple of weeks and then locks you out of the website.
The first 2 times I paid for multiple months.
I learned my lesson on that.

The government should go after scammers more than actual sites as they are more damaging to peoples identity.

  18. Troy thank you for bring this situation forward. Is this Best Buy connected to the retail giant Best Buy? I am not sure if this is the case or is this a case of a bunch of Scammers using the the Corporate credentials of the retailer?

      1. Thanks Troy , best buy junk just making it harder for all to try walk line of rules that get thinner every day due to scammers .

    1. Kitchener Ontario Best Buy is either using your information to scam customers or they are selling their information, I myself was almost scamed one day after purchasing a new laptop.

    1. I ordered lemo last week and on checkout was redirected to kemo so now I’ll have to check into this further! Thank you

  19. Thanks for the heads up… I thought some of the iptv’s was funny… different names but the same url… I even asked and was told NO,,,,Not the same..
