ace subpoena cloudflare

The Alliance for Creativity (ACE) has submitted a subpoena request to Cloudflare hoping to uncover information on various torrent site operators.

As first reported by TorrentFreak, ACE worked with the MPA to request a DMCA subpoena at the US District Court for the Central District of California.

We want to know what you think of ACE & the MPA’s attempt to uncover popular torrent site operators. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!

The subpoena is targeting some heavy hitters in the torrenting world, including the most popular of all time, The Pirate Bay.

Many have tried to dismantle the Pirate Bay over the years with various tactics including delisting and more.

The latest attempt to stifle the Pirate Bay comes in the form of a DMCA subpoena submitted to Cloudflare by ACE.

In the subpoena, ACE is attempting to gain access to information pertaining to the site operators such as IP addresses and more.

The subpoena requires that you provide information concerning the individuals offering infringing material described in the attached notice…

This would include the individuals’ names, physical addresses, IP addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, payment information, account updates and account history.

The Pirate Bay wasn’t the only site targeted, as there are some other well-known torrent sites also listed in a letter sent to Cloudflare Inc.

  1. Rianna has just purchased a condo in Los Angles for 21 million dollars. I am only using her as an examples of the gross amount of money that these “entertainers” make off of us as we buy into thier story.

  2. why the the government and others need to be up our A$$es about just wanting to watch TV. As much as the companies charge for their access it’s no wonder everyone is cutting the cords and going virtually free. I used to have directv and it took me a very long time to convince my husband to finally do away with that 300.00+ bill each month!!!! I am very happy with my fire stick and my little rabbit ears!!!!

  3. I like to know who died and made them god or the perfect hypocrite take a look at yourself no it’s easy to throw daggers keeps the focus off of me
