ESPN has officially launched their new DTC (Direct to Consumer) Streaming Service with various plans available.

The “worldwide leader in sports”, ESPN, has been working on their new platform for quite some time and it is now available for access on numerous devices.
For the first time in its history, all linear TV content from ESPN will be available to stream without a cable or Live Streaming Service subscription.
This is a major milestone for ESPN+ subscribers and those without a method to watch ESPN and their subsidiary television channels as users will now have access to all networks/services with just one plan.
This is a monumental day for all of us at ESPN, for The Walt Disney Company and, most importantly, for our fans,
ESPN DTC and the ESPN App are a powerful combination marking a major turning point in how we serve sports fans – anytime, anywhere – for years to come. We’ve put a lot of hard work into this launch, with the full force of ESPN and Disney behind it, and we can’t wait for fans to experience all of ESPN in the ESPN App.

Final Notes & Thoughts
The new ESPN DTC service has been a highly anticipated platform that thousands of sports fans are likely to sign up for.
However, their pricing has garnered tons of feedback from users who feel like it is too expensive for just ESPN programming when you can register for a live TV provider to get dozens of more channels for a few more bucks a month.
