The following tutorial shows how to install the 9Movies Kodi addon on any device with the Kodi software.

9Movies is a new, non-debrid add-on from the Zeus768 Repository that provides on-demand movies and TV shows. “Non-debrid” means there are free streaming links that do not require a premium debrid service like TorBox or Premiumize.
While most of the top-rated Kodi add-ons have debrid integrations, this can be a decent choice for those who want something quick and simple.
In the tutorial below we are using an Onn 4K Plus to install the 9Movies add-on. These same steps also work on any device that runs the Kodi software like Fire TV, Google TV/Android TV boxes, PCs, Macs, tablets, and more.

9Movies Addon Review
Here is our thoughts on the 9Movies Kodi Addon.
What We Like
- Non-debrid means users can stream without a paid debrid service account
- Same zeus768 developer behind the highly-rated SALTS and Genesis revivals
- Focused Movies and TV Shows categories keep the interface simple and fast
- Favourites category helps users pin their most-watched titles for quick access
- Search function accepts standard title queries with quick response times
What We Don’t Like
- Third-party source with no verified licensing for the content
- VirusTotal flagged one questionable file in the host repository URL
- Free streaming links buffer more often than premium debrid alternatives
- Brand new release means long-term update commitment is unproven
- Yet another FEN Lite AM fork joining a crowded space of similar options
Is The 9Movies Addon Legal?
It’s impossible for TROYPOINT to determine whether these unverified add-ons like ‘9Movies’ hold the proper licensing.
TROYPOINT recommends only accessing media not protected by copyright such as those that fall under Public Domain status.
The end-user is responsible for all content accessed through unverified apps. For verified options, see our list of legal streaming apps.
Is it Safe to Use?
Before using this add-on it is important to scan the repository URL with VirusTotal. Here is the screenshot of the scan results.

VirusTotal found one suspicious file with viruses/malware within the Red Repo URL. We should always protect ourselves with a VPN when streaming content from unverified 3rd party add-ons.
A VPN will provide you with an anonymous connection while using questionable add-ons such as this. See our VPN on Fire TV/Anroid tutorial for more information.
