The official Xbox App is now available for installation on Firestick and Fire TV devices.
This application will allow users to access Xbox’s Cloud Gaming service without the use of an Xbox gaming console.
The only things you will need are your Firestick and a compatible Bluetooth controller such as Xbox Wireless, Xbox Adaptive, or the PS5 DualSense along with the Xbox application on your device.
Just like on the normal Xbox, you also have access to Xbox Game Pass. This allows you to pay for a subscription that gives you access to hundreds of games.
Currently, the app is only available on Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K with plans to get support for other variations in the future.
Microsoft announced the move to Amazon streaming devices earlier this year and officially started rolling out the application today after tweeting the following video.

For those unfamiliar with cloud gaming, this service lets you play hundreds of popular games via an internet connection without the need to purchase or download the game itself separately.
Titles are provided through a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which currently costs $16.99/month and will sync across multiple devices and platforms.

How to Install Xbox App on Firestick/Fire TV
1. Open the search icon from the home screen and click Search.
2. Type Xbox.
3. Select the Xbox app.
4. Select Download or Get.
5. When the “installation complete” message appears, the download has finished.

6. Open the app to see the home interface.
7. You can now access all of the games available within the application.
8. You can Sign in to your account to access your preferred cloud games.
