The Spectrum App on Roku is now available for installation after its removal from the Channel Store in late 2020.
An agreement between Roku and Spectrum has finally been reached that brings back the popular Spectrum TV App to Roku devices.
Negotiations between the two companies have been ongoing since December of 2020 when Roku removed the app from the Roku Channel Store.
However, these parties have agreed to terms that both are pleased with bringing the app back for use on Roku devices.
Unfortunately, Charter and Amazon have been unable to reach a similar agreement which leaves Spectrum absent from the Amazon App Store.

With the Spectrum TV app again available on Roku, users can enjoy live and on-demand content with a Spectrum subscription.
In a joint statement released by both Roku and Charter, the companies noted the following on their agreement:
As a result of the renewal, the Spectrum TV App is now available for download from the Roku Channel Store. We are pleased to renew our partnership and offer this great streaming experience to our shared customers.
Installing Spectrum App on Roku is a simple process that we show below. In this instance, we are using a Roku Streaming Stick+. However, this will also work for any variation of Roku.

How to Install Spectrum App on Roku
1. From the home screen, scroll down and select Search.
2. Type Spectrum.
3. Choose Spectrum TV.
4. Click Add Channel.
5. Wait for the Spectrum App on Roku to install.

6. You will then encounter “Channel added” message. Click OK.
7. Click Go to channel to open the Spectrum App on Roku.
8. You can now sign in with your existing Spectrum Membership.
