The extremely popular FEN Kodi Addon is officially closing its doors after many years of providing high-quality content for Kodi users.
The addon has been removed from the repository and is no longer available for installation unless you do it manually. If you have FEN installed on your device, we suggest backing it up so you don’t lose it in the future!
The official Github for this addon was removed by the developer “Tikipeter” with a message regarding any future development:
 I really think it’s the final update this time. Available until this coming Friday. Then removed. So long and thanks for all the fish…
I do not wish to hear of any bugs with the final release (2.0.07). Please, for all that is Holy. For my sanity and peace. I beg of you. Please no bug reports.
The original FEN addon was removed in early 2024 and replaced by FEN Light which was a replica in a smaller, more compact package. It featured the same development and features and works fabulously to this day.
However, users can no longer download it via the Installation URL and are met with the following message if they attempt to do so within the File Manager.
Since direct installation is unavailable, those interested in downloading a VOD addon for Movies and Shows should opt for a different selection from our list of Top Kodi Addon Choices.
If you are looking for a similar layout with the same provider sources and scrapers, check out POV which is a clone of FEN Light and is currently working fabulously.

I see that we cannot get fen light through Tikipeter repository and I’m probably wrong now but wasn’t Fen light also available in the Umbrella repository ?
How do you “save” the current FEN so it doesn’t get removed?
FEN WAS THE BEST. FEN LIGHT SUCKS. Now you can not see what the next episode is. Yu have to thake the next one not knowing what the next one is.
I have never used FEN. I have never understood it’s popularity. I attempted to install it once but was unsuccessful. I use TraktTV and Real-Debrid with my add-ons and have had virtually flawless experiences.

Have Fen installed but use it sparingly because lots of there links are in a foreign language mostly Russian and Spanish
Umbrella, it works great. Haven’t had any issues with since using it for a couple of years. Works great with Realdebrid.

Fen for me with Trakt was the perfect setup for TV shows!! Once you have watched one episode, you are setup to watch all episodes, sequentially, until done. Simplicity. Better than streaming services which cost so much more.
Now my hope is that the Kodi builds will add either Fen Lite, if possible, or POV to their builds.

What a major disappointment when I read the latest news regarding the Fen-Kodi-Addon.
I immediately fell in love this addon after installing it on my Amazon FireTv. The ease of usage enhanced by Real Debrid, ensured immeasureable viewing pleasure for the greatest movie and television selections available. I placed it at the top of my list of best addons. At this point, I will use the light version that is currently available.
FEN was my go to, and second is SEREN, I may try the Twilight addon; but FEN was the best, I will miss it. Thanks Troy for all you do to keep us updated and in the KNOW!
