How to Enable WireGuard Protocol

If you are an existing IPVanish customer, you must enable WireGuard on your preferred device for use of this feature.

NOTE: If you are unable to connect to your VPN after enabling WireGuard, you may have to uninstall the IPVanish App and reinstall it.

In this instance, we are using a Fire TV Stick Lite. However, these steps will also work for any device that has the IPVanish App installed.

1. Launch the IPVanish App and open the Settings Menu.

2. Click VPN Protocol

3. Choose WireGuard

That’s it! WireGuard is now enabled for use. Enjoy.
