Kodi 18.2 Fixes and Updates

The following updates are directly from the official Kodi Website:

18.2 Leia saw numerous bug improvements for Kodi. The most noticeable new feature is the issue template and automated verification system within the GitHub issue tracker.

This allows Kodi developers the opportunity to identify and fix reported problems and more.

With the ability to locate problems sooner, this new improvement should help keep bugs within Kodi to a minimum.

Here are a few other changes to note:

• Fix Performance and dependency regressions in GLES rendering path
• Fixes within the AML platform
• Corrections to VAAPI on Intel
• And more

The Audio Section within Kodi also saw some nice improvements. These include: Optimized database access speed, improved import functionality, and bug fixes to all aspects of the PVR.

For those who use Kodi on an Android device, this platform received some updates as well. This includes a Codec Factory in which users can configure HW-Decoder with extreme detail.

These settings can be configured by the user in XML format.

The newest release of 18.2 also hinted at Kodi 19 which is already in the works. Stating that an official announcement is due to come shortly.
