Are you tired of installing VPN applications on all of your devices and activating them prior to using your favorite apps, addons, and APKs?

If so, you may want to consider a VPN Router and this guide provides you with a detailed resource tutorial for enabling and setting up the Best VPN on router for blazing fast speeds and complete protection.
While using specific applications is the most popular way of connecting to a VPN Server, you will likely lose download speeds since these devices don’t have the processing power capable of maintaining high speeds.
With a high quality VPN on a powerful router, you will likely see little to no loss in download speeds which means you can stream, game, and browse the internet without any issues and still have full protection!
Continue reading for more details as we provide both a screenshot tutorial and a detailed video guide that walk you through the complete process of setting up and enabling a VPN on Router.
Why Activate VPN on Router?
Many prefer to activate a VPN on your router instead of installing specific applications for all of their devices so you don’t have to worry about connecting/disconnecting every time you use various apps, addons, and APKs.
If you are someone who always wants to have full protection, the best way to do so is by installing a VPN on your router and ensuring full anonymity.
The router will encrypt the connection to the Internet and then tunnel the traffic through your VPN provider’s server.
Hide Your Digital Fingerprint
By doing this, your IP address will also change, making all of the devices on your network 100% anonymous.
Because some devices such as Roku, Xbox One, Apple TV, or PlayStation don’t have the ability to install a VPN application, the best way to ensure a safe connection is by protecting all devices connected to your network.
In this case, the best practical solution is setting up our #1 Ranked VPN on a high powered router such as Asus with a WireGuard connection.
For this to work properly, you need two things:
VPN Router Requirements
1. Use a Trustworthy VPN Provider

Because all of your devices will be protected with the VPN Service, you want to make sure that you have a top-ranked VPN Provider with the best features available.
Most likely, you have lots of internet connected devices so you will want to ensure that your provider has enough connections to cover all of your devices.
You will also want to make sure you have a fast service since typically, using a fast VPN will minimize the decrease in download speed on your router.
We suggest our #1 Ranked VPN Service for many reasons including its blazing fast download speeds, unlimited connections, various VPN Protocols (including WireGuard), and thousands of servers across the world.
2. Use a Powerful Router to Run a VPN

As mentioned earlier, running a VPN requires processing power. The more processing power on your VPN router, the faster it will download.
In all likelihood, you are going to need a high powered router that won’t decrease your download speeds and can help you stay connected for all of your devices. This is especially true for those of us who are constantly streaming Movies/Shows or gamers who require a lot of bandwidth.
