If you have used the Nuvio app, you have likely heard of Collections but may not be sure what these are or how to use them.

Luckily, our guide breaks down these popular tools and shows how to configure and install them within the Nuvio Application.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before going into our guide make sure you want to reconfigure your Nuvio setup as installing Collections will replace your existing user interface.

If you decide you don’t like the new setup, you can simply install a different Collection or remove the imported Collections to return to the default interface

What Are Nuvio Collections?

Nuvio Collections are groups of custom catalogs that populate your Nuvio home screen with personalized rows and categories.

NOTE: It is important to point out that Collections do not work in the same manner as Addons & Plugins and do not provide any content. They simply organize media into various categories to make your browsing experience easier!

Unlike the default home screen you see, using Collections lets you customize these rows with your preferred content and more.

Packs vs Individual Collections

When searching through available installs, there are two different types of options available – Packs and Individual Collections.

“Packs” are preconfigured setups containing numerous catalogs built into one. This is the simplest way to get a premium UI with just a couple of clicks.

However, you can also browse Individual Collections which are built for one specific item such as Cartoons, Decades, Directors, etc. This is the best way to “build your own” Collection and personalize your user interface to your liking.

How to Install Nuvio Collections

In this guide, we are using the official Nuvio Community Collections Page to install Collections, but there are also 3rd Party sources that provide JSON URLs for installation within the Nuvio App.

1. Visit the Nuvio Community Collections website – nuvio.tv/community-collections and log in with your Nuvio account.

2. Scroll down to find available Collections which you can sort by Recent, Popular, Pack, Individual, and more.

3. We can now browse available Collections and choose which option(s) we’d like to install.

4. Clicking on a Collection will provide more information and details to see if it suits your needs.

5. Choose Add Pack if you wish to install it.

6. Click Add Pack again.

7. You will then see “Pack Added” message.

8. If you return to your User Profile, you will see your Installed Collections with Folders, Sources, etc.

9. Launch the Nuvio application on your preferred device and you will encounter your new User Interface.

How to Remove Nuvio Collections

If you wish to remove your installed Nuvio Collections, you can easily do so within your Nuvio Account Dashboard.

Open the Collections tab and click “Delete All” in the upper right hand corner to remove these and return to the original user interface.
