BUDS comes from the Southpaw Repository which is home to numerous popular addons including the Hawk addon and others. It appears to be a fork of the well-known FEN addon.
This is a “premium” addon selection, meaning that you must add your favorite resolving service in order to stream content but links provided will be in high definition.

How to Install BUDS Kodi Addon
- Launch Kodi and then open SettingsÂ

- Choose System.
- Turn on Unknown sources under the Add-ons tab.
- IMPORTANT: Make sure to read the important Kodi message that displays.

- Click Yes.
- Open File Manager.
- Click Add source.
- Select <None>.
- Input the repository URL without any erros – https://southpawlefty2468rocky.com/repo and click OK.
- Type a media source name such as southpaw or another name of your choice and select Ok again.

- Go back to Settings and open the Add-ons menu tab.
- Click Install from zip file.
- Choose southpaw or the other name you previously assigned the media source.
- Click repository.southpaw.zip file.
- In the corner you will see Southpaw Repo installed.
- Click Install from repository.
- Select Southpaw Repository.
- Open Video Add-Ons.
- Choose Buds.
- Select Install.
- Buds Addon installed message appears in the upper right-hand corner.
You have successfully installed the Buds Kodi addon.
However, you must continue following the steps below to add an external provider package and authorize a resolving service.
How to Install Cocoscrapers
Buds requires an external provider package to scrape for streaming sources. Cocoscrapers is the most popular outlet available and we will show you how to add this in the steps below.
1. Return to the Kodi System screen and open File Manager.
2. Click Add source.
3. Click None.
4. Type https://cocojoe2411.github.io/ and click OK. (This is the Cocoscrapers repo URL)
5. Type coco for the media source name and click OK again.
6. Go back to Settings and open Add-ons.
7. Click coco.
8. Select repository.cocoscrapers.zip.
9. CocoScrapers Repo add-on installed message will display.
10. Click install from repository.
11. Select the Cocoscrapers Repo.
12. Choose Program add-ons.
13. Click Cocoscrapers Module.
14. Select Install.
15. The installation success message will appear.
Continue below as we must now authorize Cocoscrapers within Buds.
Enable External Providers & Authorize Resolving Service
Once you have installed Buds & Cocoscrapers, we can enable Coco as the provider source and add a debris service.
1. Open BUDS and select Tools.
2. Click Settings.
3. Hover over accounts and scroll down to find External Scrapers. Click Enable.
4. Click Choose External Scrapers Module.
5. Select Cocoscrapers.
6. Click OK.
7. Go back to Buds Settings Page and find your debrid service authorization (We are using Premiumize). Click authorize.
8. Make note of the code provided and input this into your service authorization page.
9. A success message will appear. Click OK.
Once you have added these services you can get streaming with Buds!

Similar to other popular addons, Buds features a simple home interface with various selections.
When selecting a category, posters for each title display as pictured below.
If you prefer to see a List of content available, you can adjust this in settings. Follow the steps below to do so.
- Open Tools.
- Select Set Views.
- Click the left button on your remote and change Viewtype to List.
- Click Set view and then click here.
- You will see the Movies:List message.
