How to Disable OAuth Token in Kodi

disable oauth token kodi

The following tutorial will show you How to Disable OAuth Token in Kodi.

We provide step by step instructions to disable this annoying error message and remove it forever.

These instructions will work on any device including those who use Kodi on Firestick.

If you are a Kodi user, you may have encountered an unwanted error message stating:

An OAuth token is required for access, go to ‘Settings – ‘Login – ‘Get OAuth token’ to generate one

This is oftentimes encountered when using the Diggz Xenon Build which is one of the most popular Kodi builds available.

Disabling the OAuth token is a simple process that will take only a few minutes. We can usually solve this issue by disabling the Twitch Kodi Addon within the Kodi Settings.

Special thanks to a patron from the TROYPOINT Insider Forum who provided a solution to this problem.

    1. Nevermind. I found it on my small TV. Disabled Twitch all nite works. Did came on my new 65 in TV. Disabled just like I did prior. Now when I choose movie/tv Or networks tab. It just thinks. Says working on lower right corner but goes no where???

  1. Recently I tried to download “The Crew” and got an error message “chain validation failed.” Is this the message you get from the new versions of FireOS that stop sideloading? My OS version is 6.2.8.1 (NS6281/48.2), which isn’t one of the versions that your post listed as being anti-sideloading.
