The build downloads from downloader but when I click on install the screen changes to done and nothing happens?
    Anyone else having this problem?

  3. When did Kodi start hijacking full screen on the Windows version? Does 20.3 allow you to have it open in a separate window?

  4. Hi , i have kodi 20.2 , to update to 20.3 ,do you have to delete 20.2 first ,or is there a way to just update, thanks

  5. If I update KODI from my current version, will I have reinstall my add-on’s???

  6. i just loaded it and it updated dont delete the kodi you have

  7. i didnt all addons still there not sure about builds i dont use them

  8. Avatar for MarkxG MarkxG says:

I run a Build and it won’t Auto update but my rule of thumb on these minor point releases is there usually isn’t a reason to update unless it’s going to materially affect your Addons or improve performance. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it

  9. Great point!

  10. I should have left well enough alone. I had kodi 20.2 and it worked perfect. Tried to update to 20.3, three times thru downloader and it won’t update. Also tried a alternate way with appstarter and that failed. At this point 20.2 wont even install. I also have added a SD card for extra storage I thought that would help. Firestick recognizes it. What can I do to fix it?

  11. use the kodi site direct 64 or 32 make sure you load correct one

  12. Avatar for PapaS PapaS says:

Try a browser using link below, make sure your browser is allowed to install from unknown sources.

  13. It sounds like someting went afoul for some unknown reason as they sometimes can and do.
I would recommend uninstall kodi and start over with a new install.
    Good Luck

  14. I don’t have android tv, Google tv, or chromecast. I want to install using my firestick like before using downloader. The kodi logo doesn’t appear in my apps after trying to download it numerous times. Something else is keeping it from doing so.

  15. I uninstalled kodi, and it won’t reinstall using downloader

  16. Check your memory/storage capacity. May need to do some clean-up if low on storage…

  17. I have a external SD card. That should not be the issue. Appstarter told me to delete older version 20.2 of Kodi before d/loading 20.3. I should have left it alone, it was working fine. Kicking myself in the ass right now.

  18. Avatar for MarkxG MarkxG says:

Are you using the Troypoint Toolbox for your KODI Install. Troy has 20.2 and 20.3 Quick and easy you will just need to reinstall your Build or Addons and Reauthorize RD+Trakt (if you use it)

  19. Can someone tell me Troy’s URL in order to install Kodi? I deleted my Kodi and cleaned out everything to do with my Kodi 17.5. Now I don’t know what URL to use to download and install the new Kodi 22? Also what happened to the Kodi Skins? I tried once using someone else’s URL and I get the basic Kodi with no skins. I’m so disappointed. HELP. -Monnica

  20. Yes. Using the toolbox and downloader. Tried to load 20.2 and 20.3, neither worked. Kodi app is not showing up on my apps page after downloading. It said the download was successful as well. What do you mean re-install your build? I deleted the original 20.2 for a clean install and I probably shouldn’t have. I use Real-Debrid.

  21. if your on firestick look in my addons

  22. Ok. What am I looking for?

  23. Avatar for JerryJ JerryJ says:

Hi Monnica, Use this handy set of instruction to set up Troy’s wonderful toolbox. Troy also shows you how to setup Downloader with a direct link to his toolbox. Oh! and welcome to the community! We are happy to have you here.

As far as setting up the skins in Kodi, watch this incredible video by our very own jayhawks. He goes over this in this tutorial.

  24. Avatar for JerryJ JerryJ says:

Sharkey, did you go to where you “Allow Unknown Sources” and make sure that Kodi is checked?

  25. Somtimes kodi will load there first an will go on homepage after you click on it

  26. Thanks for the replies, I got it to install. We’re good now! Kodi can be a headache sometimes.

  27. I have tried several times to use Kodi. I follow the instructions and it loads and then this is where the problem is. I have yet to see instructions on how to use Kodi. I have Cinema HD and Cyberflix and using them is simple. Why can’t someone make a video on how to use Kodi after you download it. I have seen pictures of Skins that look really great and wish I could be able to get that and use. Ok I am a senior citizen , but I am not dumb. Please help!!!

None of the Kodi builds has been working with the Kodi 20.3. Kaveri try the Diggs, Superman, but no movies or tv show would play. I get links for Real debris. The issue started when I upgraded the Kodi 19 to the 20.

  29. Avatar for Miki Miki says:
  30. Ormalou1 I understand what you are saying . It seems to be allways about how to use Kodi but not how to set up all the settings in player settings in expert mode . like in video , playback and processing settings . That’s the real meat to get the movies to play right .

  31. Avatar for MarkxG MarkxG says:

@Jayhawks659 put together an extensive KODI Video. I haven’t watched it but from what I see in comments it has been quite helpful for people here. Unfortunately I tried searching for it but can’t find it.

  32. That’s what I’m saying. Now I get this Wonderfox message and it wants you to install something called
Videoconvertorfactory. Why? And of course it costs money. I am trying to download Kodi to my firestick. If you come across an easier way to do this please post it.

  33. Avatar for MarkxG MarkxG says:

Okay here is what I suggest for you for KODI with some optional steps

    1. Go to Troy’s Toolbox and do a Fresh Install of KODI (20.2 or 20.3) in Downloader
    2. Enable install from unknown sources
    3. Install the Build or Addons you want to use
    4. Authorize Real Debrid (or alternate premium debrid service) in ResolveURL
    5. Optional - I use Trakt TV authorize Trakt in the Addons you use
    6. Please review the comprehensive KODI video @Miki linked to just above. A lot of the details in these steps are covered there
  34. I loaded the Start2finish guide . I didn’t see this guide untill now . Really nice guide . Thanks !

  35. I know how to install Kodi, but now what. I don’t know how to install or use Add ons or builds. What are your suggestions?

  36. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

Here is an example for you.

  37. Avatar for MarkxG MarkxG says:

Troy provides that instruction in any of his Addon videos. In addition in the video above at about 25 minutes you are shown how to Install the Crew Addon. All the info is here on the Insider and Troy’s website. Please put in some effort watching and learning.

  38. Avatar for JPM69 JPM69 says:

It takes a little time to use kodi to get comfortable with doing things. If i mess up the worst that happens is i reinstall kodi and start over. Usually i just need to clear data or cache and start fresh that way. Neither has happened in a long time.

The addons are always changing or evolving. Sometimes they just go away but get replaced with something new.

Trial and error is my advice. Either install addons or try one of the builds troy recommends. There are enty of people/links here to help. It is much easier to understand the solutions if you know how to describe how you got to a problem.

And if you havent already. Use Real Debrid or similar. Makes viewing experience much better.

    Good Luck

  39. I have Real debrid and Trackt. I also use a VPN. My problem is after I install an add on I don’t know how to use it. To you also have to do a build. How do you get to a Skin and all of the categories are at the bottom of the screen. I will go to downloader and Pull up Troypoint in my favorites and see if I can find a video.

  40. Avatar for JPM69 JPM69 says:

I personally use Diggz Xenon Plus 2.0 Build. Troy has a step by step instructions to install. But there are others he recommends as well. Keep in mind the people who set up the builds can change them or stop updating as they want. Diggz has been around for a while but can go away and you’ll need to find another build you like. But i dont see that happening soon :crossed_fingers:.

The same goes for the addons that are on the kodi/builds. They come and go. A good build will stay on top of this and provide updates to adjust.

You will have tabs for Movies TV shows (real debrid only), trakt tv and trakt movies. Also sports links and other tabs to try out for yourself.

You can also seach online and look for videos that give tutorials on some builds. Just make sure they arent too old as they might be outdated.

  41. No dont uninstall. Kodi will just overwrite the old version with the new one

  42. Download diggz build. Then authorize accounts.if you get stuck there is a tutoral on troypoint

  43. Once you download kodi install a build its much easier. But its also better if you have a real debrid account

  44. You do a build before you do an add on?

  45. Avatar for JPM69 JPM69 says:

Builds come preinstalled with addons. The icons will be there but you may need to click install when prompted to load onto the build. Every build is different to how the person set it up. But they should mostly offer you many of the popular addons.

If you know an addon you like but it isnt on the build you can add it but i would get comfortable working around kodi just so you understand where to go and what to do. Kodi will look different than when you first installed so it may take some navigating to find your way around. Also each build will look different on where you need to click to get to certain folders inside kodi.

Or you can just add addons by themselves without using a build. Many people here swear by it and have no complaints. Personal preference.

  46. I’m going to try and install a build. I tried installing an add on and it has taken me hours and I’m still not done.

  47. Avatar for MarkxG MarkxG says:

I’ve been using Builds from the Grindhouse Group for about 5 years now. If you want a quick and easy way to get a 20.2 Fork they have a Downloader code that Will install a 20.2 Fork then take you to their Build Wizard and you can easily install one of their almost 2 Dozen KODI Builds. The Builds pretty much all have the same Addons but there’s a few other differences. You can see Build previews in their Wizard. I have one of their KODI Builds and also have a build on this Fork. The Downloader code is: 542388

  48. Thank you so much for all your information. You are the first person to take the time to explain this to me. Hopefully if I have more questions you are the one that answers them.

  49. Yes it is very helpful. What would have taken a person that understands this an hour took me 3. A lot of rewinds. LOL :joy:

  50. Avatar for JPM69 JPM69 says:

No problem. There are many here to help. I will if I can.

  51. I Installed Diggz. It works great. I want to thank the person who advised me to install a build first. If someone had informed me sooner it would have saved me a lot of headaches.

  52. Is anyone having trouble installing diggs buils on 20.3? I have tried installing on 4k and it won’t work.

  53. Ha day mate. So very to bother you but I’m following this very informative video you posted I believe back in January and when I’m typing in the Crew address it’s automatically adding a / at the end of the line causing a no connection network error. Is there anything I can do? Il setting up a new ONN box. Tysvm for any guidance Miki.

  54. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

I am not entirely sure why that’s happening but I don’t use either Kodi or ONN, so hopefully someone who does can jump in and help you. If extra characters are being added then my thought is to look at your onboard keyboard options and turn off stuff like auto correct or auto punctuation.

  55. Avatar for PapaS PapaS says:

Just tried from scratch to add crew to Kodi 21. When I add the url it also automatically adds the / at the end of it but it works. Maybe the repo was down when you tried or something
(This is on BuzzX5 not Onn)

  56. Ty Miki, I very much appreciate your help.

  57. I checked the log and it’s showing a Failed with code 404: So I’m on to search that.

  58. Avatar for JPM69 JPM69 says:

I dont believe the / at the and of the URL is causing your error. I believe that is there by default.

    A few questions:

What version of kodi are you using?

What URL are you trying to install? I know you said The Crew but knowing the URL may help find the solution.

Urls can change and certain addons might not be available or compatible with what you are using.

  59. What a dope. Haste makes waste y’all. On the tutorial I was watching I didn’t hear him say to put a - between team and crew. That’s my mistake. Thank you all for the advice from a grateful rookie. It’s up and running.
