Glad to see this. Thanks for the info. Was wondering why I could not access my Typhoon Labs app and could not find their website. Used it for over a year with no problems and great customer service. Any suggestions for a replacement?

  2. Since yesterday I can’t use typhoon with Surfshark I contacted typhoon and they said to use it without vpn that their app is ok without it???

  3. STAY AWAY FROM TYPHOON LABS… last Friday I got the notice on the app that my subscription is about to expire so right away I went to the website to renew and that’s the only time I found out that the website is down. So I went on their chat and was chatting with their customer service, and they couldn’t tell me when the website will be back up they gave me the runaround and told me that my service was extended, and that not to worry about it being interrupted after the three days my subscription expired, and I don’t have any service went back on the chat explain what happened and they pretty much said that renewing issues are managements department and that they apologize and that they don’t know when it would be back up. They also said to keep checking back on their website and then when they’re back up again to go ahead and just start over horrible customer service has no idea about what’s going on within the company I mean what kind of company shut down their website indefinitely and doesn’t have a way for customers to renew

    1. Yep their website is down and their app is down as well, I had a month left on it. Another Typhoon iptv website popped up…but I aint gonna trust that, no more Typhoon for me.

    2. I think they actually saved you from spending more money on a service that was going to end soon. TL App is no longer loading as of yesterday…crashes every time.

I’m liking this package more than Apollo, Even though Apollo has a much better layout.
The only downside to Typhoon, is that you have to use the native remote from your box to make it work correctly.

  5. Been using Typhoon Labs for several months now and am mostly satisfied. However, I do not like the format of the EPG that comes with the product. It looks nothing like the screenshot shown in Troy’s article. The EPG is in vertical rather than horizontal format. There is no option for searching and no way to customize the package that I can find. When I contact customer support I am told that it is not possible to use an IPTV player with their product. I must be missing something. Are we talking about the same service? Can you clarify?

    1. The screen shots in this review show what appears to be the TVSmarters app adapted for this service, which appears to be from a reseller rather than Typhoon. I contacted Typhoon and confirmed they do not use this app or have any authorized resellers of their product. I have the TyphoonLabs app and actually like it as well if not better than the smarters app because of the ease of use and how quickly it connects to streams. What’s more, you can set up your favorites and they will automatically appear on any other device you install their app on. Very cool.

    1. Hi Don, as with all unverified services that we review, we do not link to them due to legal questions. A simple Google search will usually give you what you need.
