  1. Anyone tried this yet? Still in testing but a lot more channels apparently to follow. I’m stuck in an airport today but looking forward to getting it downloaded tonight to have a look.

    EDIT to include web details.

    Downloader code: 197959

  2. just been on the sportsfire web page no mention of this on there

  3. Launched yesterday on its Telegram pages.

  4. just tried downloader code not valid

  5. Okay have removed code from top post until that is clarified. Seemingly can download direct from the web link anyway.

  6. hold on tried again and it connected

  7. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

The site is located on a server in Amsterdam. No Malware or obvious security issues although not well protected. No apparent redirects and is associated with sportsfire confirmed.

  8. downloaded it looks pretty good thanks for heads up

  9. Avatar for JPM69 JPM69 says:

Works well so far. Thanks for the info. :+1:

Lets hope the audio doesn’t stay connected afrer you close the app. Thats my biggest pet peeve with sportsfire.

  10. lol yes happens when you change streams so annoying then you have to close app to stop it then go again

  11. i have on stick maybe shield will load it

  12. Just checking Q&A and it is Firestick and Android smart tvs only. Not sure if that is just for launch or a permanent thing.

  13. Avatar for JPM69 JPM69 says:

Loaded on my Nvidia shield. So it should work for you there.

  14. its working well on firestick impressed so far

  15. Yeah, the Telegram announcement said that it’s for Fire TV & Android TV OS’s only.

So Streamfire may not work on stock Android boxes.

  16. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

I thought I’d give it a try, but no luck. Have to wait for a few more releases. Probably happen if it gets more support. As noted it works famously on my Shield Pro. Good pic, steady stream, lots of choices, 3 countries -CA-UK-US. Not a whole lot of channels. About 170 US, 14 CA, 33 UK. But a good start for sure. Pretty much the same layout as thetvapp .

  17. You have to be in their telegram group to stay updated on this app and the announcement from the devs. Great app with tons of channels and more to come via request if it’s anything like the sports app it’ll be a hit

  18. I guess I am disappointed but hopeful.
Disappointed because the only U.K. channels are sports channels, all available in Sportsfire. Nothing at all in the other categories.
Hopeful that as this is new the developer has not yet got round to adding other channels - BBC, ITV, Channels 4 and 5, and the non-sports Sky channels - but will do so before long.
Same easy interface style as Sportsfire, still doesn’t kill the sound properly.
The US news channels I watch worked perfectly. I’m a great Sportsfire fan and will tbe a great fan of this app if the main U.K. channels are added.

  19. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

About 220 channels. A good start but not that many. At least it’s free. Ok for a backup but still more free M3U8 s with more selections in Tivimate. Nice to have options.

  20. Had a chance to get a proper look at the app now. As others have said it’s still in the early stages and more channels will be added on request via the Telegram channel once initial testing is complete. Maybe not exactly one for the more advanced of you which will be most people on this forum! But it’s a good free app doing much of the same things as Sportsfire. And a clean bill of health from the virus checkers.

  21. easy to use good quality streams so far. as you say its only at early stages but well worth keeping up with :+1:

  22. I’m American so as far as USA it has everything and it’s beta app not even done building it

  23. Avatar for TXRon TXRon says:

    works great on stock android

  24. Happy to hear that!

I was wondering, because of the developer’s ‘fire and Android TV’ statement.

  25. Avatar for Bernz Bernz says:

Working well on Chromecast. Thanks for the update :smile_cat:

  26. Both Streamfire & Sportfire currently work well with our stock Android device,Tx, just to verify.

  27. Wouldn’t work on my Android phone unfortunately. Will try on the TV later.

  28. Downloaded to the firecube and its exactly the same as sports fire and very limited channels, runs fine but wouod like to see more channels added, had sports fire for about 7 months and like i said they have all the exact same channels and nothing more jas been added in this time.

  29. • Launch your Firestick

    • Open Downloader

    • Use your remote to highlight the Enter a URL or Search Term: section

    • Enter the following code 762785 and then click Go

    • The file will start to download

    • You will be asked if you want to install it. Select INSTALL

    • Select Done (we are going to delete the installation file to save space on your stick)

    • Select Delete

    • Select Delete again

    • Go back to your Fire Stick home screen select the APPS section

    • Select My Apps

    • StreamFire will be located at the end

  32. Works fine on my Android tv as of yesterday

  33. just for info if you get buffering on sportsfire go to there sister app streamfire no buffering so far

  34. Avatar for JPM69 JPM69 says:

Oddly enough i was getting buffering on Streamfire so i switched to Sportsfire. :man_shrugging:

  35. lol always the way so i switch between them

  36. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

Click done, then delete to select the APK. Close downloader and then go into your devices Apps and try to start from there or if the apps widget gets installed on your home page try it from there.

  37. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

What device is it installed on. That looks like the “Security” settings of your “Apps” app, not specifically the widget to open it. So for my Shield Pro if it isn’t on the home page there is a row that has a + beside it and it’s there and I don’t want it on my home screen. Or I click the hamburger button on my remote to open “Settings”> scroll down to apps>see all apps>installed apps>scroll down to Sportsfire>click on it and a window opens with some app onfo like open, uninstall, storage used etc.

  38. Above image is from Samsung mobile. There is no option for Open, so I could not open the app in any way. Need to find a solution for mobile.
However, on Tox3 Android box, I can open the app only from Settings>Apps. Is there any way to get the app on Home Screen? Tried with Shortcut Maker app but even it could not find the Streamfire app on its list of apps. Google is making our life more miserable lol.

  39. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

Oh ya I think it was noted that streamfire isn’t for phones or tablets. Not a mobile app.

  40. Avatar for Tech2 Tech2 says:

Yep. Doesn’t work on tablets or phones. I’ve tried it several ways, even made my own launcher to open it and it still wouldn’t budge.

  41. Streamfire and Sportsfire have channels in 720p only. Do you know any other apps for Live Sports that have channels in 1080p resolution?

  42. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

My Shield Pro upscales everything. My IPTV service has a ton of 4K. I don’t use any apps for live sports other than TiViMate.

  43. Is Tivimate only an app or does it provide live sports too? Or do I need iptv subscription to use on Tivimate?

  44. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

Tivimate is just an IPTV player that you add content to.

  45. So is your iptv with 4K content (I need only sports) the cheaper ones from Alibaba available here in Troypoint or is it something more expensive one?

  46. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

I didn’t have any luck with alibaba. My service lasted for about 3 weeks then I gave up on it. I would look for Troy’s best Sports sites or Sports apps and look at the offerings.

Ola Tv is great for sports as well. Takes a bit of learning but it’s free. Can’t say if they’re 4k.

  47. Is there a way to extract m3u’s from the StreamFire or SportsFire app
for use in TiviMate for Multi-view?

  48. I’m not saying it is impossible, but think it would be difficult at best. There are ways to extract from streaming sites, but not sure how that would translate to a streaming app. You could do some research to see what is out there. I think it would be easier to purchase an IPTV service with that content and much more. Also, you could try these:

5+ Best M3U Playlists for Watching Live TV Channels (May 2024) (

  49. Avatar for Tech2 Tech2 says:

You could try and disassemble the apk and find it in the strings. Or if you have a Windows computer you could try changing the extension to zip, unzip the contents and rummage around.

  50. Thanks.
I’ve read about doing that disassembly, or using MX Player to expose an m3u if there is one (But no External player option on these apps).
I’m looking for an easy trick.
Seems like with all the wizards out there someone would have come up with a way
    to easily expose the m3u.
I’d bet there is no m3u to expose, or it’s well hidden or encrypted or something like that.

  51. Avatar for Tech2 Tech2 says:

Yes, it’s more than likely encrypted if you decompile. But you could also try sniffing the network traffic while you’re connected. Many different programs for that. There’s not really an “easy trick” with an apk if someone has the m3u url well concealed.

  52. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

Not sure why you would want the m3u playlist of StreamFire/SportsFire specifically, when every channel contained there in can be found for free in places like Github already precompiled for you. Here is an example. BTW if you do a search here on TP for M3U you will find all sorts of free ones with a bit of reading.

  53. Well I’d say most of the channels in these two apps are NOT available easily.
Specifically nfl, golf channel, syfy channel, etc etc If you have these please send me a copy!
The github m3u’s have many channels but they are mostly like this:
    Only free channels

If a channel is normally only available via commercial subscriptions it has nothing to do in this playlist. If on the other hand it is provided for free to everybody in a particular country, then it should be in this playlist.

  54. Avatar for Miki Miki says:

They are out there, but it does take work on your part. If none of these work then the obvious option is to buy the IPTV service of your choice. Learning how to decompile an app and gain access to the playlist is a daunting task. Again, it can be done but takes learning and reading GL2U.
