Downloader 1.3.0 Update Released – Connection Issues Fixed
Our Downloader app has been updated to version 1.3.0 and is now available in the Amazon App Store.
The new update includes a new download engine which should fix the dreaded “connecting error” and other bugs that many were experiencing.
If you already have Downloader installed on your device, it should auto-update within the next few days. You can check which version you are on by going into Fire TV Settings / Applications / Manage Installed Applications, hover over Downloader and you will see which version is currently installed.
If Downloader hasn’t updated to 1.3.0 yet, you may uninstall and then reinstall the app via Amazon App Store.
A huge thanks goes out to all of you who have sent donations through the buttons located at the bottom of the Downloader home screen within the application. These donations make updates like this possible as we do incur developer expenses.
We are currently working on the update as well for Android TV devices (NVIDIA SHIELD, Mi Box, M8S PRO L, etc.) and that should be available within the next week as well through Google Play Store.
TROYPOINT acquired the Downloader application this past year when the original owner moved onto a different career with Amazon.
